A Black Velvet Dress

 

A long-sleeved black velvet dress with folded cuffs and a removable ivory satin peaked-lapel collar.  This dress was worn by Marilyn Monroe in an early photo session.  Interestingly, the collar was removed and Marilyn actually wore the dress backwards.
